“Refrabricate EP” [MQM010] will be available 11th May, 2018 in 12″ vinyl and digital formats.

Mauoq is a London-based, experimental drum and bass artist who has released tracks on Absys, Diffrent Music, Celsius, Nurtured Beatz and Terabyte.

A clever revisitation of the original 4-tracker, the “Refabricate EP” legitimately succeeds at extrapolating on Mauoq’s initial ideas. Dexta’s remix of “Fabricate” sets the stage with a relentless salvo of sharp percussion riddims, backed up and enhanced by a throbbing bassline which has also been interlaced amongst a nice seasoning of futuristic elements. For the official second take on “Voids”, we hear Conduct reshape the arrangement drumwise, resulting in the sense of traversing unexplored radioactive deserts on alien planets. Arkaik wields the double-bladed sword in his re-interpretation of “Your Own”. Slick halftime grooves stealthily transition into techy neuro style beats and vibes. Completing the circuit, I Wannabe transforms “Escalate” into a thumping, footwork-friendly stepper with tons of dark attitude.
